Sad to learn of the death of Alistair Darling, whom I will remember as a committed public servant, a proud Unionist and a calm, kind and decent man. He was an asset to our politics and our national life. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Congratulations to @David_Cameron on his return to government. His immense experience on the international stage will be invaluable at this time of great uncertainty in our world. Looking forward to working together again!
Each year on Remembrance Sunday, we assemble at the Cenotaph to honour the sacrifice of the fallen and pay tribute to the servicemen & women we place in harmβs way.
Today - as every day - we will remember them. #LestWeForget
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them.

To mark Anti-Slavery Day, I sat down with Princess Eugenie & Jules from @TASC_org to discuss the importance of raising awareness of modern slavery & eradicating this heinous crime.
Today 122,000 people are trapped in slavery in the UK alone.

Join the charity's co-founders, HRH Princess Eugenie and Julia de Boinville, for Season 2 where every week they sit down with guests from all walks of life who are helping to combat modern slavery. Listen to the first episode with @theresa_may now: lnk.to/floodlight
Great to speak at the @WomensInstitute climate conference today.
The UK finds itself in a global race for green growth. We can have the industries of the future investing here in the UK or lose out to our competitors overseas.
"Green energy has the potential to drive prosperity; to spur innovation & enhance energy security. I always say, what's good for the planet will be good for your pocket." @theresa_may#WIClimateConf
Last night the Prime Minister, with the leaders of the United States, France, Germany and Italy, released a joint statement of support to the State of Israel and an unequivocal condemnation of Hamas and its appalling acts of terrorism.
Thank you @theresa_may & Philip May for your support today. It was great to see your strength on the doorstep and example of being solid campaigners. Incredible. Inspiring. Instructive.
As a 'sneaker head', I love the #ChuckTaylors our former Prime Minister was wearing btw π
Congratulations to @theresa_may on the launch of the Global Commission on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. The UK π¬π§is pleased to support the Commission in its work to restore political momentum towards achieving #SDGs 8.7 to #EndHumanTrafficking.
Our commissioners come from across the globe, comprising former world leaders, CEOs, academics & civil society leaders. These are people with the profile, expertise & experience to drive action on exploitation up the political agenda.
Today Iβm launching the Global Commission on Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking β an initiative that aims to restore political momentum on eradicating slavery, trafficking & forced labour from our world.
Took a break from @Conservatives Conference to visit @HopeforJustice - a charity dedicated to fighting human trafficking & supporting victims. This committed team in Manchester is working to end exploitation all around the world.
Net Zero isnβt a cost to be minimised β itβs the growth opportunity of the century, worth Β£1 trillion to British business by the end of the decade.
A pleasure to be in Manchester speaking to @Conservatives members at #CPC23.
New @RestIsPolitics LEADING, first of a two-parter with @theresa_may - essentially split into part 1 life and times and politics pre-PM, and then the really tough times part 2. Much more open and candid than usual)tho never keen to talk about feelings!) alastaircampbell.org/
