The recent presidential directive on balalo grazing in Northern Uganda has led to the impoundment of my cows in Palaro sub county, Gulu. For three days now, over 160cows. they lacked water and pasture, confined to a 15-decimal land. Surprisingly, in my village in Lyantonde, we peacefully coexist with neighbors from the North engaged in various farming activities & we are okay with them.
Now, for discussion:
1. How can we consider them brothers when they seemingly drive us away from their land?
2. Is Uganda intended for specific tribes, or should it embrace all Ugandans?
3. Should we also chase them from our home villages?
Let's share thoughts and ideas on this matter.
