People like to talk about tensions between VVD and D66 over asylum policies. But many forget there’s Christian Union that sees helping refugees as a religious imperative.
And they have also much less to lose if they were to let the govt collapse.

Well yes, but governments aren't the same as their people. The Dutch government is a neoliberal regime which caused a housing crisis and nitrogen pollution crisis and mistreats refugees, but I am not a proponent of that.

Issue is that BBB is a clusterfuck concerning all other issues except nitrogen pollution. That’s also why they’ve lose 5 seats (~3%) in the latest Ipsos poll. These people told the pollster they don’t know what BBB stands for on other issues
