I am exhausted. Like bone deep, can’t move my limbs, even thinking about getting up & moving is beyond me. As soon as I wake up, I yearn to go back to sleep. My need to sleep is a black hole, the insatiable maw of an abyss. #LongCovid is why we are experiencing the labour crunch.

God I feel for this kid. #longcovid is shit no matter what age you are. But it breaks my heart to see young people go through what I know from personal experience is an absolutely horrendous ordeal ❤️❤️❤️
Summer holiday with Long Covid. 2 hours sitting on a warm beach 🏖 = too tired to enjoy lunch & 2 days resting at the villa. Hoping for a better day today It’s not just school that she can’t access. It’s the life she knew #LongCovid #LongCovidKids #Attendance @nadhimzahawi

I am watching the most irresponsible segment on @CBCNews with @TorontoIDDoc saying its harmful to track new waves. #UrgencyOfNormal rhetoric 🤦‍♀️. #Masks are tools! IT is NOT about hospitalization & death. #LongCovid matters. I have no more words for the amount of privilege shown.

Just tested positive on lateral flow 😭 Let’s see how covid round 2 pans out. Haven’t recovered from round one yet. Weird being ill on top of being ill. #Longcovid #CovidIsNotOver

🚨A new study using a novel MRI technique finds that #LongCovid symptoms are largely driven by the impaired ability of red bloods cells to absorb oxygen. This was observed in each of 34 participants. globalnews.ca/news/8950820/l…

I appreciate that some academics are now speaking up about #LongCovid, but it shouldn't require them being personally affected to finally do so. When you provide public health guidance, you should be thinking equity and justice first, not just your privileged personal situation.

I rest for hours between receiving my delivered groceries at apt door & unpacking & putting them away. Sometimes steps of receiving, bringing to kitchen, unpacking, & putting away are incremental steps happening over a few days, for less/non-perishable stuff. #LongCovid #MECFS

Has the @CDCgov warned you about BA.5, now accounting for ~37% of Covid cases, a liability for reinfections, less protection from vaccines and monoclonals, risk of #LongCovid? No. But it should have. Why? erictopol.substack.com/p/the…

4) if you care about kids- you would want to protect them from #LongCovid which afflicts ~ 1 in 4 infected children! Just look at the number below… it’s no joke 👇 nature.com/articles/s41598-0…

This guy is living off of click-bait and profiting from misinformation. He mis-interpreted two long covid studies, ignoring obvious selection bias of anxious, well participants, & drew selective conclusions from the (old news) finding that ppl w/ #LongCovid have normal biomarkers

Some research out of Canada is now indicating part of the mechanism for #LongCovid. This may help you feel seen and others to see/understand that your experience has a physiological basis. Good luck. cbc.ca/news/canada/london/ca…

I understand that we all want to put covid behind but it’s still very much here in its continuous variant evolution and #LongCovid is still a worrisome risk. No good pretending otherwise.

Had Covid? You're now 3.5x more likely to be diagnosed with Alzheimer's and 2.5x more likely to be diagnosed with Parkinson's. This is only the beginning... There's no way these numbers won't go up with time. medicalxpress.com/news/2022-…

I wish there was a #LongCovid hospital, where we could go, get iv fluids, do the many scans and blood draws and exams- without needing to spend energy on getting back and forth to many apps, etc. Then after week of testing, a week to recover while waiting 4 treatment plan.
