Really should be cancelled, honestly. Disappointment is fine - events usually put a lot of eyes on WoW, and so by not cancelling at this point, you're going to be promoting the product regardless.

I'm going to stop you there. Organizing an event like this takes months, and the community around it years to build. While I, and many others, have no plans to renew a sub in any manner we are in full rights to still enjoy our and event that someone labored to provide.

I'm not going to this because I am interested in Blizzard. I'm going because I have built a community of friends, outside of the game. You do not get to push blame on someone who had taken the time to mindfully approach, respond, and encourage others do what they think is right.

I get where you're coming from. I might agree if the money was refundable and the event further out than two days. I know the hosts are very kind and thoughtful people, and this was not a decision they made lightly. The choice to not host in-game in the future reflects that.

And throw away everything they planned months for, over something they didn't even do?? Regardless of if they do cancel it or not, the issue is so deeply-rooted in the entire industry.......... It's not something they can actually do anything about.

Just gunna note under here that I'm not going to argue with anyone about this. Putting eyes on a product of a company that enabled harassment so severe that it lead to suicide is, in my book, not okay.

It's been planned for months, has existed for years, and is in TWO DAYS, Cadey. The money can't be refunded, and they said they won't be hosting in-game events going forward. What's good enough for you? Have a little empathy, ironically.

I understand where you’re coming from, but this is an event that’s been planned for months in advance, has a lot of time and money sunk in, and has no plans to continue in Retail after this. Cancelling last minute because of Blizzard’s actions is punishing the wrong people.

I said I wasn't going to reply to anyone, but we've been mutuals for a while, so I'll throw this out there: events should have stopped happening when we found out devs werent being paid so low that they were living out of their cars. To have a party following a death is obscene.

some ppl are going to process their hurt, rage, other deep emotions as a result of the news not in a snap like you, for some ppl the event may be a goodbye to their characters. not everyone is going to take information the same/actions even tho they're hurt and angry.
