SBF on whether he laundered Ukraine crypto donations: "I wish I could have pulled that off. I wish. I don’t know why Ukraine is laundering funds for the Democratic Party. I don’t know how they would or why they would."
SBF was pictured glad-handing many powerful people
It would be very embarrassing for them if he were revealed to be a drug-abusing embezzler, a con man
Therefore the corporate media will rehabilitate SBF, and throw shade on @cz_binance to pander to a sinophobic political agenda
NYTimes piece on SBF is bizarre
It describes a series of scams / fraud in the fraudsters words (intended to whitewash the incident), w/ almost no interjection or explanation
Should explain VC investments w/ loaned $ and paying off loans w/ customer funds are crimes w/ victims

1/ FTX might have minted Serum (SRM) off thin air to prop up its balance sheet:
Serum's total supply increased by 60% this year via 2 huge mints. These were not previously disclosed based on anything I could find.
1st mint: Feb 19, 50M SRM
2nd mint: May 25, 50M SRM
We seen at least 3 cases of users who shared their API key with 3rd party platforms (Skyrex and 3commas), and seen unexpected trading on their accounts. If you used such a platform before, I highly recommend you to delete your API keys just to be safe. 🙏
1/ Very rough and speculative sketch of what I increasingly think happened at FTX as more info comes out…
The central question is where did the money go? Yes malfeasance and fraud is necessary, but at one point in the cycle cash actually has to go out the door

FTX DEBACLE SHOWS NEED FOR CRYPTO REGULATION, YELLEN SAYS
Like clockwork.
We use people's misfortune and turn it against them to hinder their precious "Crypto" as much as possible, even though we did nothing to prevent their loss, on the contrary.
The reason a large amount of European users lost funds in FTX,
Is because they were driven to trade there after Futures were banned in Binance due to regulations,
As governments kept saying Binance wasn't regulated and praising the altruistic billionaire.
Cannot make this up.
Did you know: Alameda CEO @carolinecapital's Dad, Glenn Ellison is the Department Head of Economics at @MIT?
And...
Prior to getting appointed to the SEC, @GaryGensler was a Professor for the Practice of Global Economics & Management at @MIT...
So essentially:
Gary 🤝 Glenn 🤯
