Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic have refused to participate in a V4 meeting in Budapest. It is a protest against the pro-Putin policy of Orbán. A not so splendid isolation.

There have been reports in the popular literature of Orbán accepting money from Russian operatives when his political career was just taking off. Perhaps he should have been more discreet at such a tender young age?

That Viktor Orban needs to lose the upcoming election. Shameful to have him leading an EU member state.

Late but good decision of #Polish government to join V4 meeting boycott, initiated by Čech Minister of Defence @jana_cernochova ! Well done! 👏 Now I wait for Russian gas and coal embargo and ban the cargo sent to Belarus and Russia. Sanctions must increase! #StopPutinNOW

West must carefully drill into any potential agreement between Ukraine and Russia. Any agreement that involves a separation of land under Russia control in my view, would be a source of risk for the West in future. Neutrality same, unless Ukraine becomes a NATO or EU Member.

Are we a side to this agreement? Do we have a right to drill into it? Ukraine is sovereign and they will decide of their best interest.
