How is it always Vinicius? Maybe, just maybe something is wrong with him?
Disgusting tackle from Gabriel Paulista. Get out.
Saka: 14 PL G/A Rashford: 12 PL G/A But yeah, it’s more important what you do against Charltons, Readings or Sheriffs
Rashford has more goal contributions than Martinelli and Saka combined 🤯

How do people care about opinion of a guy who said we won’t finish top 4?
“That #CFC squad will be dangerous!” 🔥 “It’s gonna be tough next season with the likes of Chelsea, #MUFC, and #MCFC.” ✍️ Gabby Agbonlahor says #AFC must win the PL this season or they’ll miss their chance. 🤝 With our friends @ArnoldClark #Ad

Arteta took over a team in 11th, Ten Hag took over a team in 6th Ten Hag got a pre-season and has spent €240m. Arteta didn't get a pre-season and spent €8m (which was loan fees) before winning the FA Cup Ten Hag has beaten Forest and Charlton. Arteta beat City and Chelsea
Let’s not normalise the fact Erik ten Hag took over a team that was in utter disarray and has absolutely pissed getting to a cup final at the first time of asking.

Both of them in the same game. Amazing.
What’s the biggest “I’m him” performance ever?

We will never witness an athlete like this guy is in our lifetime. Completely unreal.

I forgot one guy we should try to add. And don’t act like it’s impossible to get all four of them. Hope our board learnt something from Chelsea’s in this window. This would be an €250m window but we need those.

This is an 7/10 window. We got great backups where we needed to (especially for Thomas where we had our season depending on him being fit). Would’ve been an 10/10 window if we got our first options + Fresneda.

People don’t understand. Jorginho’s “sluggishness” won’t affect us in the way some Chelsea clips suggest it would. Look at Sambi Lokonga. He is definitely athletic enough, but his understanding of the position isn’t nowhere near Jorginho’s.

In a system as structured as ours, from our DM, it’s much more important what Jorginho has: Knowing where to be always. Compactness of our system will help us never let him stranded with acres of space both in front and behind him. And even if we do, it’s never his fault.

Because, if we depend so much on our DM handling the transition by himself, that’s never his fault, but the fault of higher lines who prevented us from getting the ball back where we need to and also opening the space for opposition to exploit Jorginho’s weaknesses.

9. Great backup who offers something else (better passing selection than Partey, lacks a little in other areas though) His injury record is amazing. Missed 5 games since joining Hellas Verona (2010.) If only he was a little bit more athletic, it would be a 10/10 signing.
🚨 Arsenal fans, out of 10, how happy are you about the Jorginho signing? 🤔

I don’t know what gives people this confidence. Who even are you?

Not really though. The ability to keep the ball longer is what likens us to prime Liverpool. And Jorginho’s passing selection is top notch. Won’t be too vertical like Partey. If he was a little more physical, he’d be the perfect Arteta 6. Now, he’s just a great cheap backup.
We’re a duel winning side first. Before the possession that’s the trait that likens us the prime Liverpool. Have athletes who don’t tire with engine m every where. Regain then retain.

You may watch Jorginho lose duels at Chelsea and think “he is going to flop” He won’t. His defensive awareness and positioning is ELITE, and that will be shown in Arteta’s compact unit. Lokonga is maybe quicker than him, but he has no experience or either of 2 named qualities.
