Absurd. In 2018, Iowans’ rejection of Trump led to two Dem victories in House races and the near defeat of Steve King. Reynolds, an incumbent, narrowly won her race based on high personal favorables, the connection to Terry Branstad and the strong local economy.
After someone in the crowd praises Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds, Trump claims, "I hate to say it -- without me, you know she was not gonna win. You know that, right?"
