This step will allow international justice to be even more active in investigating the crimes of the Russian military on Ukrainian soil.

Grateful to Iceland for recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people, for honoring the memory of millions of Ukrainians killed by the Moscow regime. It is a clear signal that such crimes do not go unpunished and do not have a statute of limitations.
In November I visited the Holodomor memorial in Kyiv. It was a heartbreaking reminder of a terrible crime.
Today, Althingi recognised the man-made famine of the winter of 1932–1933 as genocide perpetrated by the totalitarian government in Moscow against the people of Ukraine.

We are proud to announce the successful shipment of 30,000 tons of grain to Mombasa, Kenya. Thanks to the @GrainfromUA humanitarian initiative of @ZelenskyyUa and @Ukraine, over 140,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat has been donated so far to African nations.
