On my trip to Israel and the West Bank, I had the opportunity to sit down with and listen to Israelis and Palestinians. They play a critical role in reminding us what’s truly important—trying to make sure that each of us is treated with the dignity that we each deserve.

Before I head home, I wanted to share a few of my favorite photos from the trip.
Concluded another productive trip to Israel and the West Bank, where I met with Israeli and Palestinian counterparts and leaders from civil society. We will continue to support the parties and all efforts to deescalate tensions.
Met with President Abbas and @DrShtayyeh to reiterate our commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and a two-state solution. Israelis and Palestinians deserve equal measures of freedom, security, and prosperity.
Reaffirmed our commitment to bolstering independent media with Palestinian civil society leaders—a key pillar for accountability and good governance. Working with Congress, we intend to make up to $2 million available to support journalists in the region, including Palestinians.
