Royal British Legion retweeted
Pleased & Proud that our tiny @PoppyLegion Branch won the Community award at the County Conference today. The branch was almost closed due to depleted numbers, but we pulled it back & it is once again a key part of the local community 🙏🏻👊🏻 #royalbritishlegion #servicenotself

What a fundraising superstar! Owain, aged 7, has been painting beautiful poppy stones to raise money for our Poppy Appeal. Inspired by his late grandad, a Royal Artillery Veteran, Owain has raised £500 over the years and has even had a visit from his local MP! 👏

At the RBL, we're committed to supporting serving and ex-serving personnel, and their families, including those from the LGBTQ community. However, we recognize that this has not always been the case and there is still more that we can do. 2/9
