Nick joined the British Army in 2000 after being recruited from his home country of Fiji. He loved military life, and struggled to adjust to the outside world upon leaving. The RBL helped ease the burden for Nick and his family during this challenging time.

Grant loved serving in the Army, but his career was cut short after an incident in Afghanistan led to him developing osteoarthritis of the spine. RBL provided crucial support during the difficult times that followed, helping him rekindle his passion for fitness with hand-cycling.

After contracting a rare bacterial infection in Afghanistan, Ted struggled physically and mentally.
A huge step in his recovery came when he attended the RBL Battle Back Centre, where he completed a course designed to help improve motivation and the ability to deal with stress.

Justine joined the Women's Royal Naval Service aged 17 and served for 11 years. When she needed support, we were there to help her and ensure she could provide food, clothing and Christmas presents for her family.

If you have a poppy containing single-use plastic, you can drop it off at Sainsbury’s for recycling until 23 November.
If you have a new plastic-free poppy, it can be recycled in ordinary household recycling collections.
