In the life of every nation, there is a turning point. For Nigeria, that time is now; a time to save Nigeria, save our democracy and give the Nigerian youths hope. The OBIdient Movement has been the arrowhead in the take back Nigeria mission.
My aspiration is for a new Nigeria, where the children of a nobody will become somebody. A nation anchored on national interests, and not sectional interests; where the entire youths from the six geopolitical zones will have a sense of belonging in the affairs of their country.
My family and I convey our most profound condolences to the Diya family on the death of their patriarch, Lt- General Donaldson Oladipo Oyeyinka Diya (Rtd) GCON. His service to the people and the nation, in different capacities, will always be remembered.
Today, I paid a condolence visit to the family of a dear friend, and political colleague, Mr Humphrey Anumudu, whom I was deeply saddened by the news of his sudden death. Mr Anumudu is one of the strongest supporters of the Labour Party in Imo state,
and an aspirant in the forthcoming Imo State governorship election. He was a very warm, and forthright person. His death is a huge loss to his immediate and extended family, the Labour Party, the good people of Imo State, and to Nigeria.
May God Almighty, who called him home at this time grant him eternal rest in His kingdom, and grant his family the fortitude to bear his irreplaceable loss. My sincere condolence to his family, and may God Almighty bless his family always. -PO
I was in Awka, Anambra State, today for the celebration of Gov. Chukwuma Charles Soludo's One Year in Office. As a firm believer in building a better society, I maintain that politics should transcend partisanship and be free from tribal and religious affiliations.
I continue to condole with the Jemide and Atika families, as they buried their beloved mother, Dr. Omawumi Jemide-Lawal today. She will be sadly missed. Her death is a huge loss to her family, the Labour Party, and the good people of Delta state.
I attended the burial of Late Lady Barr. Ifeoma Obi-Okoye in Ogidi, Anambra State. I wish the Obi-Okoye Family the strength and fortitude to bear the painful loss, and pray to the Almighty for the peaceful repose of her soul. -PO
Earlier today, my lovely wife, Margaret, and I, joined in the final commendation of Late Miss Nwankie Ikpeazu, the beloved daughter of Dr Onyechi Ikpeazu, SAN. Nwankie's death is one that is heart wrenching. We cannot question God,
but accept her demise as the Will of the Almighty. I sincerely commiserate with her immediate and extended family, and all who mourn her irreplaceable loss, while also praying for God to comfort them. May God rest her soul in paradise - Amen. -PO
I'm gratified that Barr. Julius Abure, National Chairman of Labour Party and I were able to meet with the Imo State LP Stakeholders and the Governorship Aspirants in an interactive meeting on the way forward in Imo State.
Much grounds remain to be covered ahead of the 10th April Primaries. It is reassuring that the participants agreed to remain constructively engaged, and also work collectively towards a seamless and hitch free Primaries. -PO
A while ago, I spoke with my brother, Dr. Alex Otti @alexottiofr, the Governor-elect of Abia State and heartily congratulated him on his election. I am gratified that the will and wish freely expressed by the Abia electorates have been respected.
