“It’s got to be direct action, civil disobedience & a general strike. That’s what we need.”
Gordon Martin’s message at tonight’s #DefendTheRightToStrike rally.
There was a point made tonight that’s worth repeating.
‘Strikes are part of the compromise between the working & ruling class. Now they’re trying trying to pull even that compromise form us.’
Make sure you’re on a picket line tomorrow. #DefendTheRightToStrike
🔥Tonight’s public meeting made one thing absolutely clear: Students are right behind the @ucu & our campus trade unions in their struggle.

Just finished this wartime history of the ILP. It’s worth reading. Highlights how vague opposition to the war, disaffiliation from the Labour Party and a radical but unclear alternative, left the ILP with nowhere to go.
“We proved another Bolivia was possible.” — Evo Morales
We’ve written this thread on the achievements of Bolivias’s MAS government & their transition to a socialist mode of production, 17 years after Morales’ inauguration.

Earlier today I spoke with @SkyNews about US Secretary of State Blinken coming to Palestine & explained how this will be a textbook visit where he will reiterate US support for the Israeli regime & the continuation of impunity for its crimes against the Palestinian people.

Every MSP should be completely respecting these picket lines.
