Anyone else who uses the @facebook app on their iPhone find that it now refuses to stay in dark mode?

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I think β€œFalcon and the Winter Soldier” is my favourite Disney+ MCU series so far.

Trust me, when you’re not white you get this take from someone any time you accomplish anything outstanding. Don’t worry. It certainly doesn’t contribute to imposter syndrome though. πŸ™„

Take a look at who was hired to replace her. It certainly wasn't another Caucasian female. CTV needed to meet its "minority and diversity" quota. LOL!

Looking for people willing to come on It's Not Therapy to discuss autism. You can be an educator, a person with autism, or a therapist who works in the field. This will NOT be a debate on ABA therapy. This is about communication.

Just watched a great @CP24 interview with @waltonmom. Outlined what her union is asking for and why, whom they represent, and why there will NOT be job actions in September regardless of the results of a strike vote. Will try to find a link later. #OntEd

I admit that economics is not my area of expertise, but if the prices of goods/services increase with inflation and we all accept that, why is it controversial to suggest that wages go up too? Wages are the price an employer pays for a service, aren’t they?

Read the full document. Not only is @fordnation proposing wage changes that amount to a cut in the face of inflation but there are also deep cuts to other areas like sick leave. Not acceptable. #onpoli #osstf #etfo #oecta #aefo #cupe #onted

By the way, I'm sure that there are people blaming teachers for this, like complaining that they're using too much electricity in their classrooms.

Has any government ever proposed a high school course on workers’ rights, labour laws, and how unions work? If not, why not? πŸ€”
Replying to @JBradshaw01
Edu on unions: union is in strike position after all avenues of negotiation are exhausted. Even then, U’s try to reach a deal through arbitration. Ed workers may also be locked out: the board thinks that they can strike a better deal. Ed workers don’t threaten but vote to strike.

1. No education union has β€œthreatened to strike.” 2. Our collective agreement doesn’t expire until Aug 31. In June, unions were still trying to the gov to even come to the table to begin bargaining. 3. How do you withhold services when they aren’t being offered? #OntEd
Why do they never threaten to strike in June when they have two months to negotiate a new contract?
