Even Mr Clough said a manager needs three seasons to build their team - for me the promotion season gives SC an extra year, as, I believe, saving us from relegation was his mandate.

This week is a watershed for #NFFC When Cooper goes, that's it. -We just become another Prem business (not club) -Constant new unheard of managers -All sacked on a whim -No club identity -Another churn of players who have more power and fewer morals

Unfollow if you want, but let me tell you this, Steve Cooper isn't the problem, players not doing their job is. If he's sacked, he will be back at a premier league club like Palace, West Ham, Wolves etc, they are all waiting in the wings. #NFFC

All at the FPA are saddened to hear of the passing of Martin Patching at the age of 65. A talented and powerful midfielder who played in the 1976 FA Youth Cup Final and went on to make 101 senior appearances and score 11 goals. Sincere condolences to Martin's family and friends

There must be a better argument to give Steve Cooper a bit more time than 鈥渉e got #nffc promoted鈥 or 鈥渉e gets the club鈥. And I really do believe there is. Last year, on multiple occasions, he showed his ability to make the right changes, usually taking effect at the 11th hour.

If you respect Steve Cooper for transforming #NFFC, away from decades in the doldrums ending the managerial merry-go-round, apparently you鈥檙e a 鈥榟appy-clapper鈥 F*ckOff! For 23yrs all we had to be proud of was the academy. I鈥檒l backCooper with 1000s others for a long time yet thx

Every club in the world strives to get a manager that fits them. That justifies continuity & the opportunity to develop a culture & style of play. We had the ultimate football manager & then had decades of trying to find another. We have a guy who has achieved more than anyone鈥檚 wildest dreams & solved all the incredible transitional challenges thrown at him time after time. We lose three games strewn with individual errors & dodgy decisions & you think he鈥檚 the problem? It鈥檚 not him. Is this Forest, the serial winners being dragged down by a 鈥楥hampionship level鈥 manager or a club turned around almost single handedly by a widely respected boss we have to thank our lucky stars ever stepped through the door? If you think a change is going to be an upgrade on or off the pitch鈥 馃槼 you don鈥檛 know how lucky we have been so far. You鈥檒l look back and think this was a dream. It might be decades until we get a manager worth giving time. We should know better. Us more than any club. If we don鈥檛 we deserve what we get. Get a grip, we owe him our 100% support. It鈥檚 not blind. It鈥檚 been earned, in advance, warranted in spades. We owe him the support he鈥檚 earned from us. 馃敶鈿笍馃挴 #nffc #coyr
Fickle people calling for Cooper's head again. My question is. Who's better, who's going to get the results? I don't want to see a merry go round Manager come in. It simply won't work. It's Cooper for me. #NFFC

I鈥檓 not saying he won鈥檛 go if results don鈥檛 improve. I鈥檓 saying we as fans should have respect. Obviously the club will sack him if things don鈥檛 turn around, that鈥檚 football. But we don鈥檛 need to be coming out with some of the vile shit I鈥檝e read on here tonight.

Sobers was already in decline as his body slowly succumbed to two decades of top cricket. In four Tests he scored 100 runs at聽20.00 and took 14 wickets at 30.07 ... but what a career. He played one final summer with Nottinghamshire where he passed 1000 runs
