At the AGM in 1907, the idea for a 🇨🇦 medical journal was raised. The first issue of the CMAJ was mailed to about 1500 physicians in 1911. Today, that number has increased to over 70,000, and the @CMAJ is an editorially independent publication read by people across the world.
